Orinally from Alaska, Erin Williams received her BFA from Syracuse University and her MFA from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2007. Her work has been shown in a variety of venues, from California to Georgia. She currently resides in Philadelphia, maintaining a full-time studio while passing any extra time teaching Jewelry and Metalsmithing classes at the Main Line Art Center in Haverford PA, and walking dogs. Her work deals with the idiosyncrasies of emotion, the psychology of health, life, death and the human experience portrayed in a whimsical attitude. The work is macabre, silly, and full of story.
